  1. Greetings, Tom Busillo….

It’s finally a pleasure to make your acquaintance.
I’ve been following your blog post for some time now…You and I have a lot in common when it comes down to experimenting with poetry/Flarf etc…

You sir, are a very talented writer and I’ve been inspired by you now. 🙂 You’re not afraid of what people think about your work. You got balls to write what you do. And thank you for that. 🙂

Anyways, I’m Charlie Zero…looks like will be talking more often now. 🙂

  2. Thanks so much for the kind words! Glad you like what’s happening here. It can get a tad unconventional at times…actually, most times 🙂

I just try to write/create/piece together things that I like and so far it’s paid off – paid off in the sense that I’m still writing and haven’t moved on to something else. I’m lucky in the sense that I really don’t care about whether anything I do is “publishable,” so I have the luxury of not really caring what the editors at “The Gettysburg Review” would think about anything I do. I only have to worry about myself and the self-imposed deadline of having to write/create one new thing a day that somehow I end up liking.

If for some bizarre reason, I suddenly had an internal censor that said “everything you write from here on in must fit the aesthetic criteria of ‘The Gettyburg Review’ or ‘The Kenyon Review” or ‘Tin Roof’ (or is it Tin House? Tin Drum?) – I’d probably write 3 more poems, end the blog and try my hand at painting 🙂

    Stay inspired! Keep writing!

Looking forward to following your blog!

    – Tom B.
